I've been using my OpenSpot 4 Pro for a few months now and I love it. I have two HTs that use C4FM (Yaesu FT-70 and FT-5D). I have a few profiles setup for different YSF repeaters, and I switch between them right from my HT. That all works perfectly. Now, I am trying to setup something similar for DMR talk groups on the Brandmeister network, but I think I am confused on how auto connect works because I cannot get it to automatically connect to talk groups. Here is what I am trying to do. I would like to switch to a profile and have it automatically disconnect from any dynamic TGs I'm currently connected to and then automatically connect to a predefined talk group. Here is how I am setup:
I have profile #6 configured as follows:
Auto connect to ID (0 to disable): 91
Group call/Private call: Group call
Unlink TG/ref. on auto connect: Checked
Auto connect TDMA channel: 0
Auto connect interval (sec): 0
DMO mode TDMA channel: 0
Route cross mode calls to ID: 4000
Group call/Private call: Group call
Unlink TG/ref. on cross mode DTMF call: Checked

I thought this would allow me to switch between talk groups 91 and 93 simply by changing my profile, but they aren't connecting when I switch. If I turn off the "Unlink TG/ref. on auto connect" setting, auto connect works, but it does not disconnect any pre-existing connections so I would end up connected to 91 and 93. Do any of you know the right way to set this up?
