Cross Connect a D--STAR radio to a DMR repeater

I have an OpenSpot 4 Pro and a Kenwood thd75A D-STAR radio. My local radio club has several nets on a DMR repeater. How do I connect to the repeater and tell it to put me in the correct talk group

Find out the network which the DMR repeater is connected to, and then connect your openSPOT to that network. Find out the ID of the talkgroup the repeater is linked to and transmit to that talkgroup (set the "Route cross mode calls to ID" setting to the talkgroup ID - you can find this setting on the Connectors tab, Homebrew/MMDVM connector settings).

Thanks so much for your reply. Let me see if I understand you. I need to connect my openspot to the correct network. My openspot is connected to the correct network. Should I set my Route cross mode calls to the ID of the repeater and then try to connect to the talk group? If I set the Route cross mode calls to the talk group directly, I think ai'll access the talk group on the Brandmeister network. The repeater is using the same talk group number as an existing talk group number on Brandmeister.
Please clarify this for me.

prhunt1 We’re you able to connect to the DMR repeater of Talk Group with the OpenSpot? I have the same situation with my area having DMR repeaters and I have an ICOM (705 and want to get a 52a HT).

Set the Route cross mode calls to ID setting to the talkgroup you want your calls to be sent to (set it to the talkgroup the repeater uses).
