Shark pro 4 and EE pay as you go hotspot

Hello, I am trying to connect the shark for pro to an EE pay as you go hotspot.

For some reason the shark pro cannot find the hotspot even though my phone and other devices can.

Has anyone got any other ideas?

What WiFi frequencies does the EE hotspot support? If it's 5GHz only you will have a problem, the openSPOT devices are all 2.4GHz only.

All working now, changed hotspot to 2.4GHz.

Does the hotspot not allow simultaneous dual-band operation?

Tyrbiter I haven't tried to do that, so I'm not sure. Sorry.
