geotek Greetings I have a new ID-52 plus and OpenSpot4 and I do not seem to be able to access DCS/XLX reflectors. I am particularly interested in XLX reflectors. How can I access the XLX reflectors? Thanks in advance Tom WA2ANG
SteveSummersell geotek With your ID-52 and the OS4 Pro, can you cross mode and talk to DMR radios and DMR repeaters or just DMR talk groups?
HA2NON Please explain the issue you have in full detail. Do you mean that your openSPOT4 can't connect to an XLX server? Have you used Quick Setup on the web interface to set up the connection? What Status LED color do you see on the device?
geotek HA2NON Greetings Originally, I did not try accessing XLX via the Quick Setup. After you mentioned trying Quick Setup I could begin accessing the XLX reflectors -- yay. Now I hear a connection made bwtween radio and Openspot 4. Two related questions In a XLX reflector list -- I not see modules listed? When I tried accessing XLX reflectors, when I go to module selection -- I notice many modules show "in use" what does this mean? I don't actually hear anything? Thanks for you help Tom WA2ANG
HA2NON You can select the remote module on the DCS/XLX connector setup page, at the Remote module setting. The "in use" term is just a (historical) placeholder for modules which don't have names.
HA2NON You can do both private and group calls, so you can talk to DMR stations and talkgroups on the connected network.
