TheronCunningham Transmits but does not receive from modern. I can listen to responses through the computer but not the radio, any suggestions. I have a copy of the programming software for the radio.
Tyrbiter Does the openSPOT show that it is transmitting? Red flashing LED would indicate this. You may need to include the TG you are listening to in the channel's RX Grouplist or if the openSPOT is transmitting on TG9 then you need to add that as well.
TheronCunningham The os4 is transmitting and is receiving my signal. I’m cross mode operating from DMR to YSF. However it is still not opening up the radio. The codeplug looks good but was wondering if I’m missing an ID or something. Newbie to digital here. I’m hearing the replies through the computer.
HA2NON DMR transceivers open the squelch only if at least one of the following are true: The call is a private call and the destination ID matches the transceiver's DMR ID The call is a group call, and the destination ID matches the TX contact of the current channel The call is a group call, and the destination ID is in the RX group list assigned for the current channel The easiest thing you can do to hear a call to a specific TG is to set that TG as the TX contact for the current channel of your transceiver.
