MacOS 15.01 Transmit Audio

I can't seem to get any transmit audio using the current SharkRF app. Receive seems to be ok. Any thoughts or things I can check or configure ?

This is a follow up: No transmit audio using the MacOS Shark App, but seems to work ok using the iPhone (IOS) app.

I suspect that the SharkRF app needs to ask for a microphone entitlement and that's not happening. I have the same issue on 15.3.1.

Yea, the latest MacOS as of 5-22-25 still doesn't send transmit audio via the Shark App. The receive audio seems to be fine, just the mic. HA2NON would you P L E A S E look into this and reply ?? Others are having the same issue... Thanks in advance

It may be Apple are making this difficult, anything that uses microphone permissions gets heavy scrutiny before being put into the App Store.

Ok, fair enough, but I haven't heard anything to support that. Fact is, I haven't heard anything at all. 😥

We're talking about a Mac app downloaded directly from SharkRF so there is no App Store review to blame here.

There have been changes to macOS security over the years, and this app probably needs to be updated. SharkRF may have too many irons in the fire.

Posting mostly to say I'd still like this to work as I spend most of my time in front of my computer. :-)

Sorry, I thought it was referring to the iOS app.

I hear about so many problems related to Apple and security changes, it makes it difficult for developers to get it right in every release and for both ARM and Intel binaries.

I understand the problems developers have at times with Apple. However, that does not excuse the developer from communicating with the customers. I have been trying to get Norbert to respond to my messages for quite a long time. No contact.. 😵‍💫
