Yaesu FTM500 and DTMF

I was trying to get my OS4 and radio to change TG's via DTMF. Specifically at this time DMR.

Manual entires on the mic, doesn't work - no tones are generated and if they do, they just change the memory channel.

Then I tried Auto tones. They are set up correctly, transmit, but nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Truthfully, I've read that section before posting. It mostly talks about the Quick call feature (which I use when I'm on the webclient).

It doesn't talk about using DTMF codes.

The "C4FM notes" section describes how to use DTMF codes to send quick calls and change the "Route cross mode calls to ID" setting.

For the FTM500, if I change the Profile via radio (using the Wires-X button) and then hold the PTT #TGnumber, it works, w/o entering Wires-X mode it doesn't.
