In 2006, after the Dayton Hamvention I purchased and installed a full D-Star Repeater stack on Mt. Diablo, in Northern California. In 2011 a group of us started the NorCal DMR Network, which expanded to more than 45 repeaters in our area. I later got involved with Wires-X and what I have been waiting for was a radio that can do all of these modes.
As we know, one of the benefits of "digital modes" is the "networking aspect" of these systems. What the SharkRF Company has done is to provide a "Network Radio" that does D-Star, DMR, Fusion and NXDN, all in the palm of your hand, with a built-in battery.
I got this product yesterday, helped find a bug, which got fixes in less than 24 hours and I have it up and running on D-Star, DMR, and Fusion without any issues.
I give this and and this Company an A+ and a recommend the M1KE.
Thanks,
