Received mine today, partially up and running, looking very good, now i have to read the user manual.
By the way the link on the web interface (https://manuals.sharkrf.com/m1ke/en) doesn't work yet, not a problem others do.

Got mine .. Working fine .. Menus a bit clunky ! Sound quality very good. It is not a Hotspot although it said in the ad that it was as well ..Selecting a DMR server and TG it doesnt ask for a Color Code or whether it is S1 or 2 . I guess it knows ..Gonna have to sell the Openspot 4 now ..

I got the M1KE today and got it working on D-STar and DMR. I saw a post saying a user could not connect to YSF Reflectors and I tried it..

I am now in a loop with the device saying profile 1 and the hard mic button reset does not appear to work.

I did do an update to the most recent firmware.

Any ideas?

When I use the term "loop," I mean the device continues the reboot and says, "Mike profile one ready." Then, it reboots and says it again.

Sorry for the trouble. This will be fixed in firmware v4 which will be available today.

I'm very happy with my first experiences with M1KE. So far, I only tested DMR, DSTAR, DAPNET and APRS.

Question: are there any plans to implement P25?

The M1KE does not support P25 as it requires an old voice codec which is not supported by the onboard AMBE codec hardware.

Good Morning:

I did the "recovery" and got back into the M1KE. I checked the "upgrade to beta version" tab and di the upgrade to V4.
This fixed the "loop" issue and allowed me to connect to my YSF Reflector 80280.
It also appears to have fixed a low audio in D-Star I got a report last night.

Does the SharkRF Link Apple App connect to the M1KE?

Or will there be a M1KE Apple app?

The screen resolution is much better on an iPhone than the M1KE.

The SharkRF Link app does not support the M1KE and we'll not add M1KE support, and there will be no M1KE app as an app is not needed to use the device (it has its own display and web interface for configuration and call audio playback).
