Recalling from Favorites

I have trouble understanding how the Favorites work. I have set up few reflectors for YSF in Fav. When I go to Fav. and click on the ref. and then "use", nothing happens. M1KE stays where it was.

Do you mean you open the Main Menu / Quick Setup on the device display, and select REF for example, and there you recall a saved favorite server? If you select the saved favorite and use it, then it fills the server address and server callsign. It won't connect to the server until you click on the Connect button.

Hold down for Set Dest. Then Favs; then different Reflector (I refer to YSF), and I can choose Use or Remove. Click on Use and it goes back to Favs.

Yes. That only changes the destination callsign (this is on the PTT destination screen). On a reflector you need to use CQCQCQ and on a gateway, the gateway's callsign and remote module: https://manuals.sharkrf.com/m1ke/web/connectors/refxrf.html#connecting-to-a-gateway
This is handled automatically by default.

I think we got lost in translation. Let me start from scratch.

I use profile #1 for YSF Fusion reflectors. I have saved 2 reflectors in Favs.
When I try to recall them nothing happens. I wish I could send a video,

If you want to switch servers then you have to use the Quick Setup function from the Main Menu.

Now I see that there are Favs and Reset buttons on the PTT destination screen for YSFReflector and FCS - these should not be there. This will be fixed in the next beta firmware update.

No. You can save PTT destination favorites on all connectors which handle destination callsigns or IDs, for example REF/XRF or NXDNReflector.
