I hope that SharkRF will comment, as you can see they have released one new product that probably uses the AMBE 4000 series chips instead of the 3000 series. Perhaps that is because of purchasing limitations.
It's also possible that the transcoding done by the servers is different now, sorry I am really not up to speed with the m1ke.
