I have Broadcast working on a same SSID wifi and without the wifi connections (direct) on two M1KE's.
1) If I change one of the M1KE's to another SSID (same network IP addresses, a AP) the audio in intermittent?
2) I have the two SSID's in the network list. I can not change from one SSID to the other without reentering all the SSID & passwords again. Why can I not select from the Wi-Fi Network list the SSID to connect?
3) Can the Broadcast mode be routed outside the local wifi network?

The M1KE still broadcasts packets in adhoc (connectionless) mode when connected to a Wi-Fi network. If your other SSID is on the same Wi-Fi channel then both devices is able to receive each other. If you don't want this then you can defined a Filter ID at the Broadcast connector settings.

Wi-Fi connect always overwrites data in SSID slot #1. You can configure multiple Wi-Fi networks on the Wi-Fi networks page on the device display or on the Network page, Wireless settings section on the web interface.

It appears all M1KE's need to be on the same wifi channel to communicate?
What would be the configuration to talk over one local network that has two SSID's and each SSID has a different wifi channel number?

The Device to Device network is always active so if a M1KE is not connected to a Wi-Fi network, then it can RX/TX on any channel. If it is connected to a network, then it can only RX/TX on the currently connected AP's Wi-Fi channel.

If the Multicast Network is enabled (it is enabled by default) at the Broadcast connector settings, then the M1KE will also RX/TX on the currently connected Wi-Fi network using multicast IP packets, so other M1KEs not on the same Wi-Fi channel or SSID but on the same multicast IP network are able to communicate.
