Hello,
I have the following problem.
When I am connected via a YSLreflextor my modulation is too loud.
In the Mic menu under audio settings I set the gain to C4FM network to -12. I saved the data on this.
Now my modulation is perfect.
When I switch the M1ke off and on again, the set data in the Mic menu is still at -12, but my modulation is extremely loud again. Set the setting to -11 and save it, then the modulation is good again. Same problem again when turning it off and on again.
Is there a solution for this?

We can't reproduce the issue. What we've tried is:

Connected the M1KE to a YSFReflector server
Changed the Gain to C4FM network (dB) on the Mic page to -32dB
Started a call
Rebooted the device
M1KE got connected then started a call again, volume stays quiet
Changed the gain back to -18dB (this is the factory default setting)
Started a call, volume is normal
Rebooted the device
M1KE got connected then started a call again, volume stays normal

Hello thanks for your answer,
During further experiments with C4FM, this problem appears to occur with the EUROPALINK reflextor.
This problem also occurs when changing a profile.
I also tried it at YSF Nederland Centraal, then the modulation remains good. If I switch to Europalink, it is very loud again and I have to set it again in the menu.
Switching to Europalink from DMR or Dstar also gives the same modulation error.
I have no idea what's going wrong now.

The gain setting is stored per configuration profile - you need to change the setting in each profile separately.

So every time we create a new profile in the same MODE we have to setup microphone gain?
Why can't this Microphone Gain settings be set once for each mode and not per-Profile?

Yes, you'll need to adjust mic gain separately - or use profile copy to duplicate an existing profile.

Hi,
I have tried everything, but in the audio setting it does not retain the data in the profiles. If I set the audio setting to -12db in C4FM, it works fine on WORLDLINK.
If I go to another profile NXDN at 214 and set the audio setting NXDN to -11db, it is good. If I switch to profile C4FM WORLDLINK, the audio is loud and is still set to -12DB. If I change this to -11db, it is good again. I now go to profile NXDN 214 audio is very loud, still at -11db. If I change this to -12db it is fine again. When I switch back to C4FM, the same story again. I keep going around in a circle. Am I doing something wrong or is something not right?

We've found it - there were no notes attached to the file. Thank you for the video!
We've fixed the issue (the loudness enable checkbox setting was ignored by the device), fix will be available in beta firmware v14. You had the loudness turned up to 100% on the profile which was too loud - set it to 1% until beta firmware v14 is released.

I'm glad I didn't do it wrong and that it will be resolved with a software update.
