Using a Fusion system with an OpenSpot4 (non-pro) and a D-STAR radio

I had been able to accomplish this with an OpenSpot3, but that unit broke. Using my OpenSpot4 I AM able to connect to a particular system, but the transcoding is not functioning. I thought all I needed to do was to change the Modem to D-STAR as the final part of programming. But all I receive from the remote system is a digital "buzz."

Can someone send me the steps needed to accomplish this transcoding, or point me to some existing step-by-step instructions?

Thank you for that information, Norbert. Very clear and rapid response.

My error in not researching this more thoroughly. I assumed a newer version (OpenSpot4 vs OpenSpot3) would keep the same capabilities as the previous version. So this was my error. But nevertheless very disappointing to have to find this out after purchasing. Perhaps the OpenSpot4 manual could be revised to keep future purchasers from making this same mistake.
