Somebody donated an OpenSpot2 to our radio club so that we could connect our homebrew D-Star repeater to reflectors.
There is wifi at the repeater site and we have been given the credentials to connect the OpenSpot2 to it. I have noticed that after a few days, the OS2 stops responding. After going to the repeater site, I notice that the OS2 keeps flashing different colors trying to find the wifi network. After performing the classic IT trick of unplugging the USB-C cable and plugging it back in, the OS2 restarts, connects to the wifi network right away and starts functioning normally. I restarted the OS2 3 days ago and noticed this afternoon it stopped responding again. My guess, without going to the repeater site, is that it lost wifi connection again.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Is there a setting that would allow the OS2 to restart on a schedule (say once a day) to keep the wifi connection fresh? Trying to think of ways to keep the OS2 connected without having to go to the repeater site every few days to restart it since that is not a practical option.
Any advice would be welcome!
