(M1KE) Problem Setting Up Profiles

As much as I love the new M1KE, I have found it almost impossible to setup the profiles. I have factory reset the radio at least 10 times and keep trying time and again thinking that I must have made an error while attempting setup. The procedure I used for factory reset was to hold down the enter button for 30 seconds until blinking red lights appear. Every time I add each reflector it appears to accept them. When I complete the task of imputing all ten profiles, they never can be recalled in the order that they have been put in. It seems that there is no rhyme or reason as to why they don't follow the input order of 1 thru 10. Example, I input REF030 in the first location. I even have ticked the box that that states on reboot or when the unit turns on it should default to that 1st location. Yet, it fails to go to that location and continues to go to another reflector location instead. When I choose profile 3, it might go to 5? It just will not go to the requested profile.

If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do to correct this problem, I would really appreciate your assistance.

Example:

Activate configuration profile #1 on the web interface or through the device display. The device reboots to profile #1.
Change device settings (for example, activate REF030
Activate configuration profile #2. The device reboots to profile #2
Change device settings, for ex. activate REF001

Now if you switch to profile #1 then the device connects to REF030 and if you switch to profile #2 then the device connects to REF001.

As much as I really appreciate your response, maybe I haven’t explained it well enough. I understand that you must activate the profile. Unfortunately, when I Activate one profile
another profile is displayed other than the profile that I have activated. I also understand as explained previously how to factory reset it by holding the button for 30 seconds until you receive the red flashing lights. Right now I have Ref030C in the number 1 profile spot. When I try to activate that profile, the unit audibly states that profile 1 is ready and shows Ref030C on the lower radio screen. The radio then displays YSFRef 31501 on the upper part of the M1ke screen and audibly says that’s its connected to YSFRef 31501 which happens to be profile 10. This isn’t making any sense? Once again, I appreciate your help.

Please send us your exported configuration profile #1 and profile #10 to info@sharkrf.com and refer to this forum thread in your email. You can export these profiles to a file on the Settings page -> Configuration profile -> Export/import file section.

Also make sure the M1KE runs the latest firmware v20.

Issue has been resolved. A special thanks goes out to M0FXB. He posted a video on YouTube on setting up profiles. His video made it very simple. All profiles are now setup and now I can enjoy the amazing M1KE. Thank you for all of your help as well.
