Possible to send transmission logs to syslog server?

I own several OpenSpot units (2xOS1, 1xOS2, 1xOS4, 1xM1KE). When I look at the "status" pages in their web interfaces, it updates the display whenever a transmission is sent or received.

Is there a way to include this information in the logs sent to a syslog server, and/or the messages sent by the serial console's log command?

Related but separate question, does the OS1 have a serial console, or a way to SSH/telnet into it and access a console-like interface?

The syslog server receives what you see in the device log on the web interface's Status page (if the device supports displaying the log). The log has all relevant call information. The log over the USB serial console also displays all call info. The openSPOT1 also has a USB serial console. Check its user manual for more information.

Okay ... looks like I just need to dig into the messages more closely.

Actually ... does the OSP1 have a way to send its syslog messages to a server? (These are the ones I use at home, one for D-STAR and one for DMR). I thought I had configured them with a syslog server several years ago, and I haven't really needed to touch them in a few years, but I just tried to find their messages in the syslogs and didn't see anything, and then when I looked at the OSP1 web interface, I don't even see where a syslog server would be configured.

If the OSP1 firmware doesn't support it, I'd like to ask if it's possible to update the firmware to add it.

If that isn't possible ... I'm assuming this is the API supported by the OSP1 firmware. Does it have a way to tell when transmissions are sent or received? Would it be possible to write a program which uses this API to show the most recent transmission, similar to the "live status" thing in the web interface?

The openSPOT1 does not support sending log over syslog. The log is only available through the USB serial console.

If I remember correctly then the openSPOT1 sends call information through the API websocket connection automatically.
