M1KE TX issue

I have trouble transmitting with M1KE. The issue seems to be similar at least on DMR and D-STAR.

RX works fine. When monitoring a reflector/talk group and answering a call, the station hears me and starts a QSO.

My next transmissions fail.

I attached a video screen capture of the Brandmeister page that shows that the transmission starts and immediately stops.

After rebooting the M1KE, this repeats. The first transmission is OK, the next ones fail.

Tested on different Wi-Fi networks with same results.

Any clues as how to fix this ?

Do you hear back yourself correctly using Parrot? Try setting it to PCM, AMBE3000 and AMBE2000.

Tested with Parrot, PCM, AMBE3000 and AMBE2000.

Same symptom for each: after reboot, first call echoed properly, next transmissions lost.

Factory reset seems to have resolved the issue with Parrot.
Will test the other modes.

Unfortunately, the issue is not (completely ?) fixed :-(

DMR Brandmeister TG373 (SOTA): First transmission OK, next ones have "no modulation" despite the dashboard flashes my callsign shortly ( https://hose.brandmeister.network/?subscribe=973 ).

Using Parrot does not seem to cause the problem any longer (but it might be intermittent, so not so sure about that).

For what is is worth: The Brandmeister dashboard sometimes show as "talker alias" "ON6ZQ www.on6zq.be (as expected)", and sometimes "ON6ZQ DMR ID: 2565021". I think "ON6ZQ DMR ID: 2565021" is displayed when there is no audio.

A longer transmission is needed for the server to be able to decode the talker alias. The "ON6ZQ DMR ID: 2565021" is displayed when your call's duration is zero.

Make sure you are pressing the PTT button with enough pressure.

I think the issue is that the call duration is zero despite I keep the PTT down and speak.
This is also visible on the video capture sent earlier.

I'll try the parrot and let you know the result.

With the Parrot (206997), I was able to have several successive transmissions echoed properly.

On TG973, even some 10 second long transmissions give "ON6ZQ DMR ID: 2565021" and there is no audio.
On the "hose", I see my callsign for about one second, even when I keep pressing the PTT and talking (as captured earlier).

Check the device log on the Status page of the M1KE web interface for more information about why your call is stopped.
