DMR radios have what is called monitor mode which allows you to hear traffic not just on the talk group you have selected but traffic on other active talk groups as well. This is handy if you are just “monitoring” traffic on the MMDVM server. But it can be really distracting to have traffic from other talk groups coming in if you are in the middle of a conversation or a net meeting. That is why DMR radios allow you to toggle this function on and off..
When using the M1KE in DMR it seems to always be in “monitor” mode and I have not found a way to toggle it off. Is there a way to turn this off? It is really annoying.
