I must be dong something wrong. I have allstarlink node on VM. i put IP, port and node number and nothing happens. I am a newbie to allstarlink. i only installed it so i can bridge it to SVX link.

Make sure your VM's firewall forwards UDP packets on port 4569 to the VM.

HA2NON ok so I'm not sore I get it. Is it possible to connect M1KE to an Allstarlink sitting on VM? My friend was able to link to my mode no issues, when I set M1KE to connect to it it is not happening. I have IP address of my VM, port and node number. What do I not get here? I must be missing some knowledge of how it works.

I'm on firmware v21 and there's no v24 available at all, as far as I can tell. Where are you all getting that update?

n6qxa check beta version in settings. Otherwise only stable version is available for download upgrade.

w9gil If your VM is running on your local network then you have to use the local network IP address of your VM to connect it (or configure hairpin NAT on the router).

HA2NON It is a VM on an outside sever. I also still don't see any server in the menu so I will give it a time as other reported it took "a minute" to show up. I will play around and come back with more questions if needed. thank you for the help so far.

We have tried connecting and the server at 139.60.25.84:4569 does not respond to IAX2 requests. Check the server Asterisk log and see if you can spot any issues with the server configuration.

Works great on my node 64944 which is linked to SVXLink network FM Poland. Now I can talk on bunch of FM repeaters back in Poland :-)
