OpenSpot4 turns off when unplugged from charger

My OpenSpot4 turns off when I disconnect it from the charger. It won’t turn on if I press the power button when unplugged from the charger. I will only turn on if I plug the charger back in. The charger is connected to an outlet (if not, the device will not turn on). The power button does work only with the charger connected and connected to an outlet. A reset dis not solve the problem. What can I do?
The battery shows 100% charged.
I recently dropped the OpenSpot, but it worked fine after, until recently.

Make sure the Power off if no charger is connected is not enabled (Settings page, Miscellaneous settings section).

What I would like to try is to run the recovery app, but my anti-virus blocks the url:

I see you posted just before I did.
Anyway, I did a reset and then checked if this 'Power off in no charger is connected' was enabled or not. I was and is not enabled. As soon as I unplug the usb cable the device turns off. It does not respond when I press the power button.
I will run the recovery app.

Disable the antivirus while you download the recovery app. We can assure you that the file is virus-free.

Hi, I ran the recovery app. The device rebooted. Problem is still there. The device turns off as soon as I disconnect the usb cable. Pressing the power button does not make the power go on. The 'power off if no charger is connected' is not enabled.

I opened the openspot4 and found out when I pressed the connection where the wires the come from the power/battery to the print, on the left of the wifi-button, the device turned on. I think that there is probably a loose contact. I pressed a bit further and put the shield/cover back up and now it turns on and off again by pressing the power button. I am just afraid that it will be a returning problem when I take the openspot with me as it will likely shake a bit from carrying it with me.

Maybe cracked a solder joint or board trace when you dropped it and its now just starting to show up

Well, I opened the OpenSpot4 again and took the contact loose and refitted it. Maybe that will just do it.
For now I had to reconfigure the device-settings as they were lost in the reboot.
No big deal, just had to set the wifi, country, callsign (DMR number is given automatically), connectors for DStar and the APRS settings. So far it seems to work fine. I just don't dare to shake it, hihi. Okay, did just that and it works just fine. Power off/on repeatedly works. I'll handle it with care.
