Battery charging

I purchased a ANKER 323 wall charger to charge the M1KE. It delivers 5V 2.4A 12W.
However, it charges to 100 percent but the orange light has not gone out yet after charging
to 100 percent. I did unplug from charger when it reached 100 percent capacity.
Please advise.

If the charge LED is orange then charging is still ongoing.

Thanks for the reply. Is there anyway to overcharge the unit? Even if shows 100 percent capacity, it will stop charging eventually and the orange light will go out.

SteveMorganW4NHO It will be self-limiting, the Li-ion cell is charged with a combination of constant current initially and then constant voltage with reducing current as the cell voltage reaches its upper limit. This is normally done with a Li-ion charging monitor chip and there will be no possibility of the battery reaching an excessive voltage at end of charge.
