OS4 Pro Frequency Offset (Is this full duplex)

While playing around with my new OS4 Pro I noticed in advanced mode that I can have different transmit and receive frequencies like I did on my Zumspot duplex. I tested with my radio and sure enough I was able to operate the radio with the proper offset. The only thing I didn’t test is unlinking while someone is talking.

Am I missing something or does the OS4 pro have duplex operation?

The openSPOT4 is a simplex device. It can receive and transmit on different frequencies.

HA2NON Thank You. One follow up. What is the advantage of running split frequencies on the OpenSpot, and are there disadvantages?

We recommend using a common RX/TX frequency to avoid creating loops with other hotspots caused by misconfiguration, but there's no disadvantage other than that.
