OS4 Pro Crossmode voice delay

Last week I received my ICOM ID-52 PLUS 60th Anniversary Edition. When I tried to access Brandmeister via cross mode, I found that the voice received by another HT would end three seconds earlier (when I stopped transmitting, the voice that had not been transmitted was directly disconnected). For example, I said "test test 12345678" and released PTT after saying 8, and the actual received content was "test test 123". This means that I have to press PTT for one second before speaking and press PTT for 2-3 seconds more after speaking to transmit the voice normally. I understand that hardware decoding takes time, but this time is too long to affect daily use. Is there any seting or new Firmware will slove this？thank you for anwsering.73

DSTAR via Brandmeister sound qulity is good but there is a serious delay. I hate it

The openSPOT4's transcode and transmit delay is around 100ms if I remember correctly. Transmit packets are not buffered on the openSPOT4.

The server is buffering the incoming data stream and the remote party's hotspot (or the repeater) is also buffering. That's the delay you hear.

HA2NON Thanks for anwser , but i think OS4 Pro transcode and transmit delay is more than 100ms ,my network has a good ping , when i use dmr to dstar talkgroup it's better than dstar to dmr group,Thanks again HA2NON 73 :

@"HA2NON"#p34870hHi Administrator If this delay below 1000ms it should be hard to notice but this is clear to feel this delay. I have to hold PTT for extra 3-4 sec to make sure my voice trasmit compeliytely, which is hard to get used to. I hope there will be a solution. 73
