M1ke VW

Hello all.
Loving the M1KE 😍 but when listening to the North West Fusion Group NWFG in the UK, I don’t hear anyone using c4fm VW but can hear perfectly all said on c4fm DN2.
I am using YSF Ref 44222 for that link.
I thought VW was added to the latest firmware V32 which I do have.
Am I doing something wrong?…wouldn’t be like me 😜
Please advise…

Andyrooj Hi Andrew, have you tried ticking the checkbox ‘Transmit in VW mode’ on the Connectors page?

I’m not sure if that’s your answer but give it a try and let us know.

Thank you for your message. I didn’t see that and have enabled it and will see if it helps.
Found it in the advanced connector page 😁
I will report back when I can find a VW user 😎

Yep, I can hear the c4fm vw now on the M1KE 👍 but haven’t transmitted with it yet 🤓

Pretty sure that Yaesu radios need VW to be selected, it can't auto switch between this and DN because the codecs are different. Looks like the m1ke has to mimic this probably because of the way the signalling works in the network side.

We've fixed this in (currently beta) firmware v33, thank you for reporting!

@HA2NON I just got my new M1ke and today first thing I did is connect to wifi and upgraded to beta after reading this post yesterday. Then upgraded to v33, after reboot I changed profile 1 to C4FM and selected YSFeEflector.

If I understand correctly the above fix, this check should be automatically enabled for Yaesu networks?
I also have OS4pand I do not see such settings on this unit in YSFReflector

FYI. In my case was not auto enabled.
