Can't access americalink

RichardHansen

Recently I gave my old icom Id51a and an old openSPOT4 pro to a friend. Now I can't access americalink. I've tried using ys32592, americalink.radiotechnology.xyz, and americalinkysf.radiotechnology.xyz.I can hear traffic on the reflector, but nobody can hear me. I don't know if I have an addressing problem (2 callsigns, 1 radio or visa Versa) Can anyone help me with this problem?

Do your calls show up on the server's dashboard?

RichardHansen

HA2NON
No they don’t

Please post a screenshot of the call log on the Status page which shows a call coming from your transceiver.

Thank you for the log. It shows normal operation and your call gets forwarded to the YSFReflector server. Try using a different server and see if it works.

HA2NON can you tell me another server or two. The americalink.radiotechnology.xyz is the only server that I know about.

HA2NON

Select one from the YSFReflector list.

After trying other reflectors as was suggested, I have decided that it's not americalink. I have not been able to access any reflectors. I've decided the problem is my C4FM/ysfreflector profile. I'm not sure what to do. Should the profile be C4FM, C4FM half deviation, D-Star, or something else. Can you please give me a clue or two as to how to setup the profile to work on my openSPOT4 pro or my M1KE. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated!

Just use the Quick Setup feature on the web interface to set up the openSPOT4 for your transceiver and a connection to a server - or get a M1KE which is much easier to use and it's on sale right now.

I tried using the quick setup on both my openSPOT4 pro AND my M1KE. No success on either device. I also have another openSPOT4 pro that I use with a Yaesu FT5DR. I can't access americalink or C4FM using this radio either. I am completely at a loss as to what to do. I've done a factory default reset on all my devices. I keep thinking that it has got to be something simple that I'm missing or doing wrong.
STILL NEED HELP!
