Large Allstar Hub

DaveMcClure

Every m1ke connects and disconnecting every 10 to 20 seconds on a large hub. 100 plus connections. I have been with allstar on this issue. The hubs are functioning correctly. Ive tried with callsign and making a regular node. Nothing works to stop nonsense. The regular node was also keying up everytime it connected. All m1ke. I infect own 2 that both do the same thing.

HA2NON

Ok and which server is this? We can't test it if you don't write the server's name/address.

DaveMcClure

HA2NON central texas hub, south coast reflector and east coast reflector. When all linked up it will not hold a connection. Let me know when you would like to test it. Im an administrator on the central texas hub. Ill be happy to reproduce the problem.

DaveMcClure

When its cental texas and SCR it holds fine. Once we add ecr its over. I see the disconnect sent from allstar. Wait 5 minutes doesnt do anything.

HA2NON

We've connected a M1KE to "N1NDN East Coast Reflector (42805)" and had no issues (the network took around 2 minutes to pick up the registration of the M1KE as a node). It is now connected for at least 15 minutes. Receiving calls in great quality.

We couldn't find servers named central texas hub or south coast reflector. Please write us the node IDs.

DaveMcClure

48752 is SCR
559820 is Central Texas.
I will Link to ECR in monitor only now. This make the issue.

Please describe how to reproduce the issue as we had our M1KE linked to all 3 servers each for 20 minutes and had no issues at all.

DaveMcClure this log excerpt shows normal operation - a voice announcement is played.

HA2NON

We've tested both 48752 and 559820 and our M1KE was connected to both for at least 30 minutes each without any issues.

The M1KE sends an empty voice packet on connect as required by standard IAX2 servers, but we plan to remove this for AllStarLink servers in the next firmware update.

DaveMcClure

Wonderful. Wish I know so I can set the scenario up for you but if that's you diagnostics to not recreate the problem then we are done. Thanks for wasting both of our time here. When you would actually like to check it please let me know.

DaveMcClure

Dont worry about it. Your allstar side is garbage, Hopefully you do better at echolink. I know how to make it stop but it shouldn't be getting disconnect messages and taking them when this happens.
