How do I update the Mike firmware? I set it to factory settings but I'm still on version 20.

Go to the sharkrf.link, make sure you are in advanced mode, click on the settings page and scroll down to the Firmware Update block. Over to the right there should be an Upgrade button. That button will be greyed out if you are on the latest firmware. If you are not, it will have regular dark text. Click on it and it will walk you through the process.

Do I have to install Mike on my computer or how?

The M1KE has a web interface for configuration and monitoring. Use your web browser to open it by entering https://www.sharkrf.link/ or http://m1ke.local/ (make sure your browser device (phone/tablet/computer) and the M1KE are connected to the exact same network).

Maybe it could be that the phone is using the home WiFi and Mike is using the portable repeater that I always carry when I go out.

The OpenSpot 2 hasn’t had any support since the OpenSpot 3 was released (which is now old) . When I put in the ID info Shark RF says the device doesn’t exist !

OpenSpot 2, for example, is not even configured because it cannot be updated, and Mike is on V20.

It's quite likely that the firmware version in each is too old for the auto update to work, you need to find the section in the manual that shows you how to do a manual firmware update. It's in the Troubleshooting section.

You can perform manual upgrades by following the procedure described in the user manual.

The procedure I outlined and screen shot above should work for both devices. Clicking the Update button will allow a manual update. If you are unable to get sharkrf.link to work it is probably because your M1KE and/or your OpenSpot 2 are not on the same WiFi network as your computer. They need to be on the exact same network.

They are connected, and I also did it with colleagues here at EA, but OpenSpot 2 didn't pick up the IP before, and Mike might not pick it up either, and we even did it via AnyDesk and everything.

The following was my old post. I had to click on 'reset config profile' (on Computer) before I could update my firmware:
"The website 'update now' button would not respond after several attempts but worked immediately after 'reset config profile'"

Just a question... Would it be possible to include audio via USB-C in a future firmware update? This would allow the use of a USB-to-jack adapter.
