EchoLink is not connecting. IP addresses showing up.

Version 43 running on M1KE
Everytime I try to connect to a EchoLink repeater or conference it is putting an IP address in the Server Callsign and it not able to connect. This is using the M1KE device.
If I use one already saved in my Customer Server list it works fine.

HA2NON thanks for the update but it’s very buggy. I had to download it three times the first two times while trying to connect to EchoLink repeaters the device rebooted and reverted back to version 43. I am currently working on the third download, but it seems to be disconnecting from the EchoLink conferences and repeaters on its own. It’s also been rebooting on its own every once in a while I’m just monitoring.

Please describe the exact steps required to reproduce the issue.

The M1KE does not disconnect if not instructed, the server can unlink it. If the M1KE detects that the connection is broken then it automatically reconnects. You can see more information about what's exactly happening in the device log on the Status page's Console section. Make sure Advanced mode is enabled at the bottom right of the web interface to see the Console section.

HA2NON I’ve been changing repeaters and conferences the last two hours without any problems. Not sure why i had those issues but it seems yo have worked itself out and I’m still on version 44.

Bob_N5DEA Hi Bob, one thing I’ve found when doing a firmware upgrade is to leave the M1KE switched on for a period of time. I am not sure why this is. If your M1ke rebooted soon after update then it would revert back to previous fw. Since adopting this method I have not had any problems with updates which now take first time.

The M1KE reverts back to the previously installed firmware if the new firmware is not running for at least 1 minute and a reboot happens.
