The DMR-MARC and DMR Plus partnership is ideal. The DMR-MARC network is robust and reliable. The DMR Plus network is more aligned with experimentation and interoperability of technologies. Think of DMR Plus as the best possible implementation of the former DMR-MARC Sandbox.

I don't know why they don't list openSPOT on the page, but you can already connect to both DMRplus and DMR-MARC with openSPOT using the Homebrew connector in MMDVM protocol mode.

DMR Plus is awesome. I am so tired of Brandmeister and the whiny repeater owners on there. Most of us have transitioned to DMR plus 4639 and the other reflectors. The folks who run the servers encourage experimentation and you don't have whiny repeater owners complaining that your QSOs are tying up their repeaters. Love DMR Plus!

Can the code be used from the original website link.

Note :: The op is about the openSPOT device and listing or recognizing it's ability not bad mouthing services or repeater owners

HA2NON What is the setup config for DMR-MARC? I’ve been trying to access the Texas Statewide net on that network.

You can use the Heombrew connector in MMDVM protocol mode. Select the DMR-MARC server you want to connect, or enter its address if you know it to the Server address field (enable Advanced mode at the bottom right of the web interface to see the Server address field).

I thought that DMR-MARC didn't allow hotspots on their network (for whatever their reasoning)? Unless they changed their minds.
