Re: WiFi problem with Huawei E5885

Hi HA2NON. I have already tried that, as I wrote in one of my first post about this problem: Re: WiFi problem with Huawei E5885 Post by OZ9KL » Sat Mar 30, 2019 8:57 am Hi HA2NON I have tried to connect to the Huawei E5885 again, and still don't succeed. Re: ARNAQUE

Hi There. Your problem is, that you use a wrong IP address. When using internet sharing on an iPhone the subnet is 172.20.10.x When I'm connected to my iPhone my OP2 gets 172.20.10.2. 73 de OZ9KL on openspot2 color Blinking INTERMITTENT BLUE and on anytone message 9998 waiting network on openspt2 co...

Re: Why is there intermittent network visibility?

That is strange.
As far as I know OS2 doesn't support 5 GHz network.

Download priority

I know the database and firmware download has very low priority. But it is really slow, and I would like to have a higher priority on this. Maybee selectable by the user.

Re: WiFi problem with Huawei E5885

Hi Again.

I have tested a little bit more, and found out, that OP2 is only able to connect to this router if it is using no encryption or WEP encryption. I can't still figure out, if it is a problem on the OP2 or on the Huawei.

Re: WiFi problem with Huawei E5885

I have tried exact the same.
HA2NON I even tried with OP2 on a null connector, and still same colors and problem.
Do you have any clue why we aren't able to connect to the web interface of the OP2 using the IP address.
In this situation no DNS resolving is involved. That is strange.

Re: WiFi problem with Huawei E5885

Hi HB9ESF. Thank you for posting this. This is exact the same problem I have. Other devices work on the Huawei router, but OP2 doesn't. On the other hand OP2 works fine when connected to other devices. So is the problem related to OP2 or to the Huawei ? Att: HA2NON. The led is pulsing blue and yello...

Re: WiFi problem with Huawei E5885

It is turned off.
Please note, that I can't connect to the web interface, even if I try to connect direct to the OP2 IP address 192.168.8.101. This has nothing to do with DNS.

Re: WiFi problem with Huawei E5885

Hi HA2NON I have tried to connect to the Huawei E5885 again, and still don't succeed. This time OP2 actually stays connected, but as I see it, it have some problem to resolve adresses. I have also tried to override DNS adresses in the network configuration with the DNS server from Google. Still same...
