Re: Connector authentication failed.

If you are using the UK Brandmeister server change the password from a zero to a one, i.e. passw0rd to passw1rd (or try a different server).

Re: Missing Brandmeister Manager Functions

You don't have a server selected.

Re: Motorola Repeater IPSC (site connect)

Because it's a Hotspot designed to do a specific job that satisfies 99.99% of it's users and not a "Swiss Army knife" designed to do everything everybody ever may want it to do.

Re: Problems upgrading firmware

Make sure you use a USB data cable (e.g. the one that came with the openSpot) and not a charging cable from a mobile phone.

Re: P25 Mode

Development does seem to have stopped, very disappointing.

Only minor trivial FW updates, and not many of them.

The homepage still states "More supported networks and features will be available with new firmware releases."

Re: Use of Profiles

Lots of reasons, I have 5 profiles using DMR radio.

Brandmeister, DMR+, XLX reflector, cross mode to FCS, cross mode to YSF. If you get a D-Star radio you will need a profile for that, same with Fusion.

Has anyone else had this issue with the ETH ACT led on their OpenSpot?
I have seen exactly same behaviour - no ETH activity showing on LED but OpenSpot working OK, power cycle fixed it so not a hardware fault and would not consider shipping it back just for this.
