Re: TGIF Network

Never mind. I found that I had to tic the "Advanced Mode" box. Sorry for the bandwidth.

Re: TGIF Network

My original series OpenSpot Connector screen does not have the "ADD SERVER" button, or a place to type the server address. Do I need to update the firmware, or is this an OpenSpot 2 screen?

Re: Radio not being heard bt OpenSpot

Just an update on the status here. After a little prodding, GigaParts finally sent me a new OpenSpot. Was out of town for the weekend, but finally got it hooked up this evening. I went through the autocalibration routine, and everything seems to be working flawlessly. Thanks for your help with getti...

Re: Radio not being heard bt OpenSpot

Thank you. I contacted GigaParts, and they said I should wait for a confirmation from you that it was defective. I now have that, and will contact the seller again. 73.

Re: Radio not being heard bt OpenSpot

No comments from support for over 72 hours. I guess it's time to call GigaParts and see if I can get my money back. This was certainly not a good experiment.

Re: Radio not being heard bt OpenSpot

Thanks for your response. I had tried this before, but tried it again. Still not receiving the radio. I believe it is safe to say the OpenSpot is broken.

Re: Radio not being heard bt OpenSpot

Please be aware that I have read the online manual. I have tried all of the suggestions it contains. The only thing I had not tried was changing the frequency. I have now tried using 436.000 MHz, which is the OpenSpot default. I had previously been using 441.000 MHz. I did have the RX and TX referen...

Re: Radio not being heard bt OpenSpot

Please check if the color code of openSPOT matches your radio. If it still does not work, try changing frequencies, and do AutoCal/manual DMR demod mode switching again. The radio and the OpenSpot are both set to CC1. I changed the radio frequency to 436.000 MHz, the default OpenSpot frequency. I a...

Re: Radio not being heard bt OpenSpot

As I stated in my original post, I have already tried manually stepping through all of the demodulation modes, A-F. The OpenSpot does not receive my radio transmissions using any of them.
