Re: To-link and open spot cellular question

Depending on what you want to configure on the Openspot, some functions can be performed from the radio if you can set dynamic talkgroups:

TG 90000 Set Openspot Profile 0
TG 90001 Set Openspot Profile 1
etc

Try going via mmdvm and select the vk zl server under the dmr marc links it will work on 4801 to 4809 with audio both ways personally i think its a waste of time brandmeister a better system.
Thanks very much Lewis, it worked like a charm.
Brett.

Hi Brett

Shoot me a PM as I have been playing around with the VK DMR+ reflectors a little.

We can set up a trial "locally" and try and nut it out.

Cheers

Re: DMRplus not working

G'day Brett I too have seen your calls go to the C-Bridge from DMR+. I will try in a few days to make contact with you to see if the issue is on the DMR+ side or if the Bridge has a software issue - allowing traffic onto the MARC network. If you PM me - maybe we could set up a time and try it out "...

DMR+ anyone having any success?

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has had any success using the DMRplus connector? No matter what server I use, I get very poor results. I have tried RF 4400 and 4409 quite a bit, sometimes I hear calls coming through, but mostly nothing. I can see on various "lastheard" sites that the traffic on th...

Re: DMRplus not working

No, it is a problem with the network. If you don't see a call in the openSPOT's call log, then openSPOT did not receive it from the network. This is getting stranger! I have found two different sites that show DMRplus calls, and they are a different set of calls at any one time: http://176.10.105.2...

Re: Getting my head around

Hi Col, The server (5051) is the correct (best) one for Australian users, so you can tick that one off. Transmitting on TS1 or TS2 doesnt really matter with an Openspot, so you dont have to worry about that. You mentioned the frequency 434.000 - whatever your Openspot is set to, is what you have to ...

Re: DMRplus not working

This is definitely a problem with Openspot, I can pick any DMR+ reflector that is being transmitted on from http://176.10.105.248/live_dmr/, set my Openspot to join that reflector, and I see nothing in the call log on my Openspot UI, but when I transmit it appears on that web site last heard list. P...

System Fusion/FCS Lastheard link on Status page

Hi,
I think it would be a great feature to add a link on the status page under the "Connected To" section that links to the currently connected FCS reflector's "system.html" last heard page, similar to the link/s in the Homebrew/Brandmeister status page.

Does openSPOT's call log show the incoming call? If not, it's a server/network issue.
No it doesnt, I suspect the problem does lie at the DMRplus server side.
