Re: Changing reflectors or nodes on OS2

Probably you mean FCS servers and rooms, they have 3 digit numbers, the first digit specifies the server number and the last 2 digits are the room number (FCS199 -> FCS server 1, room 99). Directly connecting to the Yaesu Wires-X network is not supported. However there are a few FCS and YSFReflector...

Re: Voice announcements

Seems like the transceiver does not open the squelch for private calls coming from a source ID which is not in the contacts list. Maybe there's a setting for that in the transceiver's CPS.

Re: Is It Possible?

You'll find the compiled binary in the build/Release or build/Debug directory.

Re: Is It Possible?

If you are in the directory of the compiled binary file then you can start it by typing ./srf-ip-conn-srv
Or just use Midnight Commander (mc) and press enter on the file.

Re: Linking to a D-Star repeater

Please see the REF/XRF connector settings page in the user manual for more information: http://manuals.sharkrf.com/openspot2/en ... l#page-top
Also make sure your D-STAR registration is valid (click on the Check D-STAR registration button).

Re: Is It Possible?

You can use the SharkRF IP Connector Client connector on the openSPOT2 to connect to the server. Make sure the server password is set correctly.

Re: OpenSpot2 <=> HBLink

As far as I know HBLink is a Homebrew protocol server. As I see from the log the server answers to connect requests but does not respond to the keepalive requests, that's why you got an RX timeout. Contact the server's administrator to find out why it does not respond to keepalive requests.

Re: Voice announcements

Both your radios have to be set to DMR ID 3140139.
Have you tried calling 4000 directly from your radios, without using Quick Call?

Re: Voice announcements

Please keep in mind that BM responds the voice announcement in a private call. If you use the Quick Call on the openSPOT2 web interface then the openSPOT2 will use the DMR ID you've set at the Homebrew connector settings as the quick call's source ID. BM will reply with a private call to this ID and...

Re: D-Star registration invalid??

You should ask for help from the registration server's admin. We don't have access to the D-STAR registration network.
