Re: IPSC2

Set your radio's TX contact to DMR ID 3 with a group call, or create an RX group list in your radio with TG3 in it, and assign this list to the currently used channel. This way your radio will open the squelch when a call to TG3 is received. Make sure call rerouting is turned off while doing tests f...

Re: Return Beep - Simple Curiosity

Your transceiver emits the beep, not the OS2. What the OS2 does is it transmits a short call to your radio when it detects a valid call end frame coming from your transceiver.

Re: create a room on openspot 2

Ok so you want to create a YSFReflector server which provides one room. You can download the server's source code at https://github.com/g4klx/YSFClients/tree/master/YSFReflector You have to compile it yourself and then run it on your computer or on a server. Re: OpenSpot2 and Huawei CUN-L01

- Make sure you've entered the Wi-Fi password case sensitive. - If you have WEP encryption on your router, then make sure the password is ASCII, not hex. The openSPOT2 only supports ASCII WEP passwords. The best is to switch the encryption to WPA2 or WPA because it's much safer. - Make sure you have...

Re: FIRMWARE

Slow blinking red status LED means the connector is trying to connect. It does not indicate that your openSPOT "needs a new firmware". You can find the product page here: https://www.sharkrf.com/products/openspot-legacy/

Re: My location not visable since this afternoon

You should disable the APRS client of the openSPOT2 if you want the BrandMeister Network to upload location data, otherwise they will overwrite each other (you only see the last uploaded APRS location info on aprs.fi).

Re: My location not visable since this afternoon

You can see the uploader of the position data by looking at the entry. APBM1S means the location data was uploaded by the BrandMeister Network, and APOSW is by the openSPOT2. The OS2 does not insert the frequency information to the APRS comment.
