Re: create a room on openspot 2

Ok so you want to create a YSFReflector server which provides one room. You can download the server's source code at https://github.com/g4klx/YSFClients/tree/master/YSFReflector You have to compile it yourself and then run it on your computer or on a server. Re: OpenSpot2 and Huawei CUN-L01

- Make sure you've entered the Wi-Fi password case sensitive. - If you have WEP encryption on your router, then make sure the password is ASCII, not hex. Re: FIRMWARE

Slow blinking red status LED means the connector is trying to connect. It does not indicate that your openSPOT "needs a new firmware". You can find the product page here: https://www.sharkrf.com/products/openspot-legacy/

Re: My location not visable since this afternoon

You should disable the APRS client of the openSPOT2 if you want the BrandMeister Network to upload location data, otherwise they will overwrite each other (you only see the last uploaded APRS location info on aprs.fi).

Re: My location not visable since this afternoon

You can see the uploader of the position data by looking at the entry. APBM1S means the location data was uploaded by the BrandMeister Network, and APOSW is by the openSPOT2. The OS2 does not insert the frequency information to the APRS comment.

Re: My location not visable since this afternoon

Do you use the openSPOT2's APRS connector? Is the APRS background connector connected signalled by green dot on the Status page?

Re: knowing I have OPEN SPOT2 PROGRAMMED AND SET

Blue and yellow LED means the OS2 is connected to your Wi-Fi network, but it can't connect to the selected server. http://manuals.sharkrf.com/openspot2/en/led-states.html#page-top Red flashing LED means it is transmitting the voice announcement. Open the web interface using sharkrf.link and use the ...
