The firmware upgrade is finalized if the device is running for at least 1 minute with the new firmware. If a reboot happens before 1 min. uptime then the device falls back to the previous valid firmware.

Wires-X button commands are only interpreted if they are coming from local RF. This can be disabled with the "Ignore Wires-X button commands" setting, which is useful if you use the openSPOT4 as a bridge from C4FM systems.

Please describe what server/network do you want to talk on with your DMR transceiver. Please note that there's no "connection" between the transceiver and the openSPOT4 - if your transceiver receives a voice stream from the openSPOT4, then it opens the squelch if the destination talkgroup ...
