Re: Blocking

I have played with the banlist. It works but it doesn’t block call signs. It only blocks the open spot itself. What I want is to block a callsign. So say if my open spot is connected to the server and someone talks through my open spot with there radio. I would like to block certain users. I see the...

Blocking

Hi,
We are running a shark server on a raspberry pi. My question is, is there anyway to block a call sign or user from using the shark server? If not is there a way of blocking a call sign or user in the shark it self?

Dynamic call routeing

Is there anyway to turn off dynamic call routeing and make it static for brandmeister? I want the shark to stay rerouting talkgroup 9 to a specific talk group and not change when someone keys up the open spot on a different talk group other than 9.

Re: 2ND OPENSPOT IS GETTING SAME IP ADDRESS AS THE 1ST UNIT

I have three openspots on the same router. No issues at all. Seems like a router issue not assigning address' properly.

Callsign for DMR Calls

Hi all, I'm in the process for making a shark ip connector server with links to Brandmeister, FCS and wires-x. Everything was working great when I was just using a simplex frequency but now that I have introduced the server it seems the "Default callsign for DMR calls" feature is broken. Before the ...

Re: Cross mode bridging to wires x problem

Strange. I have the exact same set-up on Canada-Link 40505. I have fcs001-17 connected via one shark and I have brandmeister 3026 connected cross-mode with another shark. Both are on the same simplex frequency connected through a wires-x node, hri-200 and ftm-100. They work flawlessly and mine shows...

Re: Cross mode bridging to wires x problem

Wires will not pass information without a call sign. So make sure you have a default call sign for dmr calls set in the shark settings. I’m currently running this setup for fcs and brandmeister without issue.

Linking DMR repeater

Hi, My group is trying to link in a DMR repeater to our shark rf server. I have an openspot within range of the repeater. I know the shark will not properly transmit through the repeater because its not full duplex and will have trouble with the time slots. All I want is the shark to receive the rep...

Re: Cross Mode. High BER

So the issue seems to be remedied. When I was getting the issue the server was on wifi. I wouldn’t have thought it would have made that big of an issue but it did. Once I hardwired the server to the network switch the issue seems to be gone. Funny it only affected the c4 side. On a side note, how ma...

Re: Cross Mode. High BER

That same openspot was being used to connect to an fcs room and it sounds great. What am I looking for when I check packets?
