Re: SharkRF forum on Tapatalk

Ah OK thanks for your reply, I'll give it a few days and retry! The MikroTik forum must be having the same thing!

Re: SharkRF forum on Tapatalk

First of all my apologies for posting to an old thread, but the topic is relevant to my problem. I've been getting an error when I attempt to view the forum in Tapatalk. So I figured that I'd remove the forum and re-add, however I can't... I've had to resort to posting via my browser (yes I know suc...

Re: Lock out AMSAT Freq's 435 - 438

// Disable frequency bands check #define DISABLE_FREQ_CHECK // Disable frequency restrictions (satellite, ISS, etc) #define DISABLE_FREQ_BAN Is located in Config.h of the mmdvm_hs firmware. This is where the frequency check/block can be disabled by the end user if they desire. It is however enabled...

Re: Lock out AMSAT Freq's 435 - 438

Not helped that the original openspot is setup on 436MHz. But totally agree that it should have a system in place to prevent any transmission between 435-438MHz

Re: Icon in APRS

If your server is using the bm2aprs script then you need to change the ARS/RRS ID in your radio between 5050-5059. So this explains the flood of position reports that appear on Brandmeister TG5057 (VK7) This has always had me wondering why there are so many that get resent out from my hotspots! (ni...

Re: FT-70D

Possibly not the cause, but are you using the latest firmware for your FT-70DR? (I assume that you are) as I have no problems with the calibration in half deviation mode (I realise that me saying that it works for me doesn't help you!)

Re: List of recommended simplex freqs to use w/openspot?

The same issue for VK (Australia) there's no designated section specifically set aside for hotspots. So for me I just make sure I'm well clear of the analogue voice repeater input/outputs and clear of weak signal and space communication sections of the band plan. Going forward the relevant governing...

*** SOLVED *** Ethernet LED status after 1.3.8 update

Greetings, I received my openspot yesterday and it was shipped with firmware 1.3.1 and naturally I was prompted update to the latest version. Upon completion of the firmware upgrade I noticed that the Ethernet LED was no longer showing up green. The openspot is still working just fine (setup on DSTA...
