Re: Openspot 1 not receiving

Hi It did work, but I had to reboot the openspot several times before it picked up the signal from my radio. It seems like the receive side of the openspot goes to sleep. I still hear others transmissions, just mine never seems to make it through. Unless I reboot the openspot or change the frequency...

Re: Openspot 1 not receiving

HI I did the echo test and it worked. However I did need to change the frequency on the openspot as it has been more than a few hours since it was last used. Once I changed the frequency it worked fine. But I would bet that in a few hours it won't work again without changing the frequency. The frequ...

Openspot 1 not receiving

Hi I got an openspot 1 about a year ago. For the first few months it worked great. It's been sitting unplugged for the last 2 or 3 months. I went to start using it again and I'm having an issue. I'm running an Icom ID 5100A and I can receive the transmission from my openspot 1 just fine. However my ...

Openspot broadcasting D-Star call sign

Hello I am wondering if there is a way to keep my openspot (version 1) from broadcasting my call sign every few minutes. I am using an Icom ID-5100a and have turned the display TX call sign option off yet my openspot still sends my call sign. I ask because sometimes I like to listen to NETS but not ...

Re: OpenSpot hangs Connecting

Back Again So I think my mystery has been solved for any that are following this. Here is what I think has happened. The problem started when I could not connect to reflector REF001C which is a main reflector. Thinking it was something to do with my openspot I posted the question here. The helpful f...

Re: OpenSpot hangs Connecting

Hello Again Just a quick update for any of those that might be following this thread. Seems I am in fact registered twice. I've sent an e-mail to VE3LSR group to un-register my call sign. The other place I seem to be register is shown as "REGIST" which for the life of me I cannot figure out where or...

Re: OpenSpot hangs Connecting

Hi Again I sent a note to the trust-server-admins@dstarusers.org e-mail account asking what the problem might be. I had thought I registered everything correctly back in March ( VE3WCZ ) and have had no issues until now. If I find out what the problem is I'll post it here in case others may be seein...
