I guess, yes. Configure one of those openspots as SharkRF Connector Protocol server and the second one as client. Set the modem mode to DSTAR. Open required port of the firewall. I don't have DSTAR radios, so I cannot verify this. Let us know if it works.

One possibility to have a small group chat at BM is, you may use your own dmr id as a talk group and configure that in one channel of the radio.

Make sure the hotspots are using different DMR ids, add for example 01 and 02 to the end.

Make sure that you have selected MMDVM protocol, not Homebrew.

TGIF is simply accessed using MMDVM protocol. Attached is my own openspot configuration.

Yes, in the openSPOT Network Settings change the hostname something like openspot1 and openspot2. Then you are able to refer both with individual names, http://openspot1.local and http://openspot2.local
