Re: Syslog

I haven't really pushed VSCode too hard, so far it has been good. I have VSCode setup with vim key bindings and a few dev extentions for html/css, javascript and go... Intellisense works well and VSCode's visual look is appealing on the Pixelbook screen. It has been a long time since I've had to any...

Re: View Call and Name on Radio

Yes, I think most people in the videos have downloaded ID database into their radio's contact list. For example, the Anytone D878 can support 150,000+ contacts... currently enough space to hold all registered DMR IDs. Re: Syslog

One option might be to capture OS2 logs to a local syslog host (using UDP/514) then forward logs to remote bespoke syslog server. Re: View Call and Name on Radio

Not familiar with Motorola radios, have you loaded the ID Database into your radio's contact list?

RadioID.net has a csv file that you can format and import into many radios.

I'm in CA, waived the signature and received my OS2 in three business days from date of order.

Re: Syslog

I'm using UDP, port 514 and sending logs from OS2 to the syslog server on my Synology NAS without any issues.

Re: ID Database Export

Thanks, vocoder! The users.csv looks good, minimal reformatting to pop that puppy into the radio.
