Re: Pick Default Profile on Boot Up & Confirm Overwrite

I realize it uses the last active file. However I would like to be able to pick which profile it uses, if that would be possible, without having to remember to change to it before I turn the OS3 off.

Pick Default Profile on Boot Up & Confirm Overwrite

To be able to select which profile the OpenSpot uses when it boots up.

Have an option to not automatically overwrite a profile being used if something is changed, but to require confirmation.

Not Being Heard on RF

I connect to our local repeater WB7DZG module C, by using Quick Call. In the URCALL on my radio I have WB7DZG C. Anyone using a hotspot or DVAP can hear me, my signals are not transmitted on RF. If I change the URCALL to CQCQCQ I can by heard by everyone, including RF. Unless I am misreading the man...

Re: Auto set URCALL to network

Bit more research and I see it is for call sign routing.

Auto set URCALL to network

This is a check box on the Connectors tab. It is towards the bottom of the page, and is checked. Can anyone tell me what this does, or what unchecking it would do?

I can't find it referenced in the manual.

Re: Problems when connecting to a Gateway, which is connected to a Reflector.

Having spoken to an expert on DStar, the problem arises because there is a Reflector and Repeaters in the mix. Where there is a Reflector in use the OpenSpot3 is using correct DStar protocols and will only work properly, connected via the Reflector. In those circumstances the OpenSpot3 shouldn't be ...

Re: Can not connect openspot3 through browser

The only thing that comes to mind is your OpenSpot isn't on the same WiFi network as your computer. It is on a network which your iPhone is also on.

sharkrf.link does work with Firefox, I have mine connect at the moment.

Re: Problems when connecting to a Gateway, which is connected to a Reflector.

On Saturday 15th the Status was showing connected to WB7DZG/C, and it must have been connected because those using WB7DZG C on RF could hear me. Those on a hotspot could not, and Net Control said he could see I wasn't connected to the Gateway.

Re: Problems when connecting to a Gateway, which is connected to a Reflector.

On Saturday Feb 15th I again tried to take part in the Net. I opened sharkrf.link and the Openspot3. Clicked on Quick Setup, D-Star and then Gateway. In the server put WB7DZG and Module put C. UR field of Kenwood D74 was set to WB7DZG C. I could be heard on WB7DZG C, on Ref53C which was linked, I wa...
