Re: Gateway not listed

This seems to be an issue that has occurred in just the last few weeks. I wonder if it is possible that you could find a new source for a complete list of D-STAR gateway repeaters. Operators who have pi-star can connect to D-STAR gateway repeaters that the openSPOT can not connect to now. This has n...

Re: Gateway not listed

I am finding more and more D-STAR Gateway repeaters not being listed in the SHARKRF.link dashboard for the openSPOT2. Today of all the D-DSTAR gateway repeater listed connected to 1C only one repeater could be connected to with the openSPOT2. Of the 47 D-STAR gateway repeaters listed that were conne...

Re: Setup Fails and Preventing Wifi Connection

I’m in a hotel with free WiFi and no password. What do I enter when the OS2 asks for a password to connect?

Re: Direct connection to D-star repeater - how?

Many amateur radio operators can connect to the NT4MC module C gateway DSTAR repeater with their dongles and hotspots except for me with the OpenSpot2. I checked my registration and it is OK, I put the space in the blank with the space bar, I put NT4MC C in URCALL. Can you please try NT4MC module C ...

Re: DStar Gateway

Here is a screenshot of my dashboard. I have my URCALL set to NT4MC C in the D74 and I have put the space with a space bar in local module as you can see. Others have no trouble connecting to this repeater with a dongle or hotspot, just me with this OpenSpot2. It just keeps say, “connecting, disconn...

Re: DStar Gateway

I’m having trouble going through a gateway repeater with my OpenSpot2 that dongle users can through and other OpenSpot2 users can go through. In URCALL in my radio I have the callsign of the gateway repeater and node I’m trying to access.

Re: Direct connection to D-star repeater - how?

I am having the same issue. Another ham can log into the repeater with his OpenSpot2 and I can’t with mine. Also, there’s a ham who can log into the same gateway repeater with his dongle and I can’t with my OpenSpot2.

Re: DStar Gateway

It’s working now. The reason it was not going through the Gateway is because when I registered with the DSTAR Gateway I was told to register my two DSTAR devices as “A” and “B” in the boxes where one would normally put the space bar blank. This was remedied by registering the OS2 as a third DSTAR de...
