Dan, don't panic! This is pretty common as the dmr I.D. database for the OS2 is only updated once a week.
The next time the OS2 downloads the database I'm sure your's will be in it and your problem with be resolved.
Give it a few days...

Question: When you say latency are you referring to processing power or internet lag or latency? I have ran several Pi3-B with wifi to an attached MMDVM devices with out much trouble. Although the only source for the software has been supplied by the guys at Pi-star... http://www.pistar.uk/downloads...

This is the problem with 2.4 spread spectrum wifi, keep in mind most 802.11xx routers transmit close to 5 channels wide. As previously posted living in a densely populated area of 2.4 ghz signals can be problematic at best. Scan your neighborhood for wifi signals and select the one with the weakest ...

The above method only works when the device is in AP mode.

Once the device has been configured to a local wifi router the ip address will change to that routers block of ip's i.e. 192.168.1.xxx
