From my contact at Kenwood, Turn off GPS, APRS, or anything that will put out extra information upon transmit. I'm testing now.

Confirmed it's set to CQCQCQ. I'm going to do a few more tests and I'll get back to you.

Dstar to DMR on Kenwood D-74

Somewhat of a bug report - testing the Dstar to DMR capability using my Kenwood D74. When I activated the mode, I get the proper voice prompt telling me that it is connected to brandmeister XXX. When I key up the D74 it breaks the connection. Works fine going from DMR to Dstar.

Re: Transcoding: Soundquality ?

I've been testing the openspot3 and when using my Anytone 878+ cross modes into Dstar most of the guys couldn't tell I wasn't on a Dstar radio. Now guys on D74 could tell I wasn't on my D74, but thats the difference between a $600 radio and a $200 radio.

Out For review

I've been playing with my review model now for a few hours. Cross mode from DMR to D-Star and D-Star to DMR is a game changer. Flawless. Sounded great to others on REF30C and frankly they were shocked that I was talking on a DMR radio. As with the OSP2, my setup took all of about 5 minutes. I could ...

DMRCALLTRACKER Mismatch

Guys, I'm playing with DMR and Intermittently I'm getting this weird error.
dmrcalltracker[0]: cc mismatch (got 5 expected 1)

This just started today. I'm wondering what it is and how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Re: Wires-X Button

Sounds like you've accidentally configured the radio to automatically use the second frequency whenever you "connect" to the server. Go to the wiresx menu in settings and tap menu item 1. set it to manual.
