Re: SharkRF IP Connector Server

Excellent, I'm glad that I was able to help. I just added something to the install script that should drop a .html file on the pi user's desktop that redirects to the local console page. I haven't had a chance to test whether that works properly yet but hopefully it helps someone else out later.

Re: OpenSpot3 Power on/off

Thank you, for the reply. I was obviously doing something wrong. I've confirmed that the o=OpenSpot3 is behaving as advertised. I'm not sure what I had experienced before that made me think that this feature wasn't already working. My apologies for wasting the thread and your time. _I had the option...

Re: SharkRF IP Connector Server

Yeah, when the "reboot" runs the script actually runs a shutdown command and needs to be power cycled. A RasPi4 is fine (the memory configurations probably aren't optimized for a 4 but for what you're doing It should still be ok.) Re: SharkRF IP Connector Server

I tested the updated script / commands. Starting with a current Buster build on a Pi and running the following basic instructions should result in a functional IP server in 5-10 minutes. Do a fresh image of Raspbian Buster onto your SDCard. Boot and configure your RPi ... hostname, WiFi, etc, etc. N...

Re: SharkRF IP Connector Server

Yeah, for Buster some of the packages / php versions change, some assumptions in pre-installed packages and config files change too. I started working on some patches for when I did my build on Buster but with the original repository only providing a zip of the scripts I didn't do too much else for ...

OpenSpot3 Power on/off

Description of issue: A current benefit of the OpenSpot2 over the OpenSpot3 is the ability to readily automate turning it on and off with IoT outlets. Automating an outlet to turn the OpenSpot on and off allows for it to be near enough to an WiFi access point to avoid poor connectivity while not bei...
