Is Autocal Only for DMR?

Hi.

Which modes benefit from running Autocal?

I've run it for my Radioddity GD77, discovering it needed an offset of 300 Hz. But, my D-Star radio, a Kenwood TH-D74A, seems to not require it.

thanks for any clarification.

Re: Ethernet and/or Tethering

Agreed! Wired connection is almost always better, especially if the Wi-Fi portion of the device is going to be 2.4GHz only.

Fusion Voice Wide (VW)?

Can the OpenSPOT 3 be made to do anything at all with Voice Wide mode? I realize less data is sent along with the audio in this mode, but it would be great when transcoding to be able to start with the highest possible audio quality on the way into the OpenSPOT.

More Profiles

the subject line pretty much says it all... ten profiles would be nice. I just got my OS3 and I'm already at 4.

BETTER AUDIBLE INDICATOR OF POWERSAVE MODE

Hi. As a visually-impaired user of the OpenSPOT 3, I would like a clear audible indication of the current powersave status. Currently, you hear three beeps when you press the left button three times quickly, the same sound for turning Powersave mode on or off. So, folks like me have no idea of the c...

Re: New OS3, cant access it with a browser

**UPDATE!! ** I was able to connect fully this time, via my iPhone in hotspot mode. So, that tells me it's definitely a problem with the router. Time to research turning off Wi-Fi on this one we're renting from the ISP, and substituting another router. That'll mean reconfiguring lots of stuff around...

Re: New OS3, cant access it with a browser

Brian, Thanks... I'll go see what they say at that link. (after visiting that page) OK, most of that was Greek to me... Yes, it's a cable modem and Wi-Fi router. The connection consistently gets me 360-370 MBPS down, 30 up. connecting to the 2.4GHz signal, I see about 46MBPS down. I'm in Canada. My ...

Re: New OS3, cant access it with a browser

Compton, what was the fix in your case? Here's where I am currently... Now I go to sharkrf.link and after entering the UID and clicking Connect, I see "connecting...loading". But after some time, I then get: The connection has timed out The server at 172.20.10.2 is taking too long to respond. And, w...

Re: New OS3, cant access it with a browser

So, what could cause my Wi-Fi router and the OS3 to lose connection almost immediately? I've gone through the same basic steps a number of times and am getting rather frustrated. thanks for any suggestions. Which router do you have? Hi. Thanks for replying. 😀 It's an ARRIS TG-3452A/CG To the chap f...
