Re: Set up Yaesu Ft3d and Openspot3

Some early versions of the FT3D like I have you need to press the X a second time to get it to connect; even on a real wires-X repeater....

Re: WiresX connect

In YSF mode you can use the Wires connect to enter the ID of the YSF reflector you want to connect to. Here is the YSF list of IDs you can put in just the same as a Wires-X room. And in YSF you really are not cross mode as YSF is C4FM servers; Yaseu System Fusion [YSF] but not owned by Yaseu, open s...

What connector are you using? YSF or FCS?
Also what level is the firmware in the FT3D?

Re: Wires-X command flaky with newer Yasue firmware DGID

I think I see in the video you put in the call sign for the host name. I was not able or missed seeing if you are using a repeater shift? Set the frequencies up in the spot to RX on the High side of UHF, and TX on the low side of the 5mhz split. Make sure to suppress DTMF , make sure no RX confirmat...

Re: Wires-X command flaky with newer Yasue firmware DGID

We do not use DTMF codes, we use Wires-X commands.. Change log on OP2 here to support this. FYI it works JUST FINE on radios like 400s and other radios NOT on the newest firmware from YAE; and I will say it again, PI-Star works fine on them. Look at the code. v58 Added support for custom Wires-X men...

Re: Wires-X command flaky with newer Yasue firmware DGID

Because this is used on N8LPQ repeater. Norbert added that feature for us back in Openspot2 to display the repeater call sign in the Wires Menu.

Wires-X command flaky with newer Yasue firmware DGID

Well have been a fan of the OP1, OP2 and now OP3; but now worried.. OP1 never supported Wires-X commands. OP2 and OP3 do. I first found out this problem on my OP2, and with that OP3 that can still get newest updates, it also still has the flaky problem. I have pics and let me describe in detail and ...

Re: AUTO CAL C4FM

The half deviation in the FT1XD was tested and it affected only the FM mode, the C4FM mode stayed the same.
