Re: open spot 3 dash board!!!???

Currently sharkrf.link will only work with the latest beta firmware v54. Fix for older firmwares will be available on Monday. Upgrade to the v54 firmware or use http://openspot3.local/ or the devices IP address to access the web interface. Is that a server-side fix or will it need another OS3 firmw...

Re: No AP mode, does not connect to Wifi network

Yes, you need to email info@sharkrf.com and request the firmware from them, they will then send it and you follow the instructions to recover the OS3.

Re: OpenSpot3 Automatic WIFI transfer

You might be able to improve this by making your phone hotspot a higher priority than your home WiFi, but I'm still unsure if a Pi will change networks under those circumstances. Experiment should provide an answer.

Re: openspot3

It would be sensible to register the Z and D modules as well as space, when you use OS3 to connect to a reflector it uses module D by default and some servers are set up to require use from a registered module.

Re: Unable to update firmware

Possibly the jump to the most recent version is too great and can't be done in this way.

You can request an update and instructions by emailing info@sharkrf.com, have to wait until Monday I'd guess.

Re: Voice Prompt

Thanks. So I was on the United Kingdom server and I changed to Ireland but the same think happens. I no longer get "Not linked" when I send 4000... I just get a noise. James. Another report here: https://forum.sharkrf.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5029 might be something at the server end?

Re: Price is raised

It's your choice, however as I stated before there is a serious worldwide semiconductor shortage in certain sectors and I suspect that as a small company SharkRF are unable to purchase parts at the price they were paying a few months ago. Don't forget that the Suez Canal blockage will also have affe...

Re: Openspot3, and EEro, and/or Mesh routers?

OK, so I have chopped out all except the resolution failures in the log you posted. You can see that some servers that don't resolve are those needed for radio purposes and others are for checking connectivity (connectivitycheck.gstatic.com) or for providing a link to the OS3's IP address (sharkrf.l...
